Sage works with and on behalf of a person with their consent. Sage uses an Authority to Act form signed by our client, or their representative, which gives Sage permission to act on their behalf.
Sage uses four types of Authority to Act forms depending on the specific circumstances of our client:
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is signed by both Sage and another organisation and relates to the development and provision of independent support and advocacy services to residents and other service users. It sets out the responsibilities of both parties.
Sage Policies & Operational Guidelines includes a general statement of the service – objectives, context, underlying principles and the overall organisational structure. Policies and procedures covering all key aspects of the service which form the basis of programme implementation are outlined. Sage policies and operational guidelines are drawn from literature and experience. This Resource Pack is informative for Sage Representatives, service delivery partners, funders and members of the public.
