Sage Advocacy's Executive Director, Sarah Lennon, joins RTE Radio 1's DriveTime to discuss the need for adult day services to resume.

As many parts of society reopen, older people have asked Sage Advocacy when will adult day services, which provide essential support in communities across Ireland,  be available to them again.

Ms Lennon said families want the Government to deliver a roadmap for the re-opening of adult day centres.

Sage Advocacy knows from its work that adult day centres not only provide essential health services to many people who use them, but also provide a place where older people can also meet up with others in their communities, socialise and enjoy activities that they might not otherwise get a chance to do.
