Sarah Lennon, Executive Director of Sage Advocacy, joins Kerry Today with Jerry O'Sullivan to talk about the rights of older people in our communities and the impact that Covid-19 has had on our most senior citizens whose right to life has been threatened by the virus.

Ms Lennon said there are lessons to be learned from the pandemic, particularly in relation to nursing home residents and how we can better support nursing home residents in the future.

Ms Lennon said nursing home residents have made enormous sacrifices throughout the pandemic, to the expense of having very limited or no contact at all with their loved ones.
