Volunteer Information Event – Kerry October 20, 2017

Sage are hosting an information event to introduce Sage and the volunteer role, “Support Person” The next information event will be held in the Imperial Hotel, 27 Denny St, Tralee, Co. Kerry at 6:30pm on the 9th November

Sage will be holding training in Kerry early next year for our new volunteers. This training is designed for people who are new to Sage. Its focus is on orientating people to Sage and its clients and services as well as orientating them to the roles within Sage. It includes an introduction of models of support and advocacy and introduces people to the Sage model and core values. By the end of the three-day training, trainees will have a good grasp of Sage and the kinds of issues and challenges that Sage clients typically encounter.
