Sage are hosting an information event to introduce Sage and the volunteer role, “Support Person” The next information event will be held in the New Ross Healthy Living Centre, Wexford at 6:30pm on the 15th November
Sage will be holding training in Kerry early next year for our new volunteers. This training is designed for people who are new to Sage. Its focus is on orientating people to Sage and its clients and services as well as orientating them to the roles within Sage. It includes an introduction of models of support and advocacy and introduces people to the Sage model and core values. By the end of the three-day training, trainees will have a good grasp of Sage and the kinds of issues and challenges that Sage clients typically encounter.
